WEB REVOLUTION

Web Design has been an ever changing landscape but hopefully now it may begin to settle down into a format that will last through time. Big changes has been the revolution of mobile devices with varying screen sizes, this has forced web developers to move away from solid block design to fluid design. ZeDDD has gone through three web transitions since early 2000 when we developed a Flash based website platform called GeneratorWeb that allowed for small sized but highly interactive websites, great for 3D shopping malls and games. Then came our HTML platform which customers are still mainly using today and allows them to manage their web content directly. HTML was the format that worked better with search engines but not as interactive. Now there is HTML 5 which has stepped up its abilities to be interactive as well as fluid, more importantly it is able to work across the multitude of devices that now exist. ZeDDD is not planning on building another web platform due to the increasing number of very good platforms already in the current market that make it possible to build and maintain professional websites.

CONTENT DEVELOPMENT IS KEY

The key to a good website is no longer web design as that is taken care of, rather it is content development via writing text and finding suitable images. Web strategies now need to include social media which also require on going attention by developing content.
